Dr Rachel Poustie grew up in country Victoria and knew she wanted to be an Osteopath from the age of 15, after drawing inspiration from seeing a brilliant Osteo when suffering a serious injury. From that point she was laser focused on making her dream a reality.

 

She grew up playing high level basketball and continues to be passionate about sport and developing athletes. Running is her current passion, although she is keen to learn how to surf now that she's living on the Sunshine Coast.

Rachel studied Osteopathy at RMIT in Melbourne and graduated in 2003 with a double degree. She has worked in Bendigo, Victoria since 2003, and has owned her own clinic for the last 4 years. 

Her main clinical passion is treating chronic tendinopathies that have been unresponsive to other types of therapy.  She is treating these types of condition using Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT).
